BURG is based on GRUB bootloader. Not like the grub that only display text, BURG has an attractive graphical display form. This time I will write how to install burg in Ubuntu 12.04 / 12.10 and Linux Mint 13/14. With our Burg Boot Loader can enhance the look of Ubuntu or Linux Mint us.
How to Install Burg in Ubuntu 12.04 or Linux Mint 13:
Open Terminal and install one by one:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/burg sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install burg burg-themes
Configuring window will usually appear as follows burg-pc, Select only OK, use the TAB key on the keyboard to select OK, then press ENTER.
Then a window will appear as below. Let alone inscribed queit splash and select Ok
Select OK again
Make sure you select / dev / sda
unggu up on the installation process is complete.
After that, go back to Terminal and type:
sudo burg-install "(hd0)"
Make sure there are no error messages. Marked with Installation finished. No error reported.
Then do the update-burg like the following command:
Until this burg on our PC installation is complete, but we can also do a test to determine whether the burg has been successfully installed properly.
Type the following command in the terminal:
burg signifies installed. press F1 for help, F2 to change the theme, and F3 to change the screen resolution.
